Fifteen beauties from across Germany have been short-listed as Miss Universe Germany 2015 Contestants. The fifteen semi finalist will be narrowed down to Top 10 finalist who will then compete in the finale for the Miss Universe Germany 2015 crown and the right to represent Germany at the Miss Universe 2015 Pageant. Audience can save three beauties by voting for them on Facebook. Where as seven contestants will be short-listed by the judges. Audiences can cast their votes till the 20th September.

Anja-Vanessa Peter a contestant this year at Miss Universe Germany had earlier competed in Binibining Pilipinas 2015, Miss Universe Preliminaries of the Philippines .Aynur Tuna also competed at Miss Turkey 2015. Manou Volkmer represented Germany at Miss Earth 2011. Josefin Donat is the reigning Miss Universe Germany 2014 & she will crown her successor at the end of the event. Josefin’s National Costume designed by Aviad Arik Herman depicting the fall of Berlin Wall was in the Top 5 at Miss Universe 2014. Miss Netherlands Universe 2002 Kim Kotter is the National Director of Miss Universe Germany alongside Miss Nederlands.

Germany had an amazing run at the Miss Universe Pageant between 1952 to 1961 where they produced a Miss Universe Marlene Schmidt in 1961, back to back Third Runner Up crown in 1954 -1955. Marina Orschel won the First Runner Up at Miss Universe 1956. Germany has three Fourth Runner Up crown. In 1952 Renate Hoy the first German delegate at Miss Universe won fourth Runner Up where as Gerti Daub won fourth Runner Up & Miss Photogenic at the 1957 edition. Marie Gassen in 1977 won the last top 5 placement for Germany. Miss Universe Germany 2002 Natascha Börger is the last German to Place at Miss Universe Pageant.
