Allie Nault is Miss America’s Outstanding Teen 2016! [Photos]

Allie Nault of Gilford won the title of Miss America’s Outstanding Teen 2016 on 1st August, 2015 in Orlando.  She is 17.  The pageant is a competition for 13 to 17-year-olds within the Miss America Organization.  Girls from all the states of the Unites States of America participate in the pageant.  Their motive is scholarships, just like Miss America contestants.  The national competition consists of many parts that include ten minutes of interview in front of a panel of judges, talent, physical fitness, evening wear and an onstage question.

Allie Nault won the New Hampshire Outstanding Teen title in February.  She competed with a platform for “Making Sense: Becoming Financially Responsible”.

The first Miss America Outstanding Teen pageant was held in 2005 in the Linda Chapin Theater at the Orange Country Convention Center in Orlando, Florida.  Meghan Miller, who represented Texas, was the first to win the competition.  Nina Davuluri, Miss America 2014, was first runner-up in Miss America’s Outstanding Teen 2007 & Miss Michigan’s Outstanding Teen 2006.

Allie Nault’s talents were baton twirling and dancing.  As per her state pageant officials, she is highly involved in community and has completed more than 1200 hours of community service.  This includes work with New Horizons Soup Kitchen, the Derry Caregivers, the Gilford Youth Center, the Gilford Library, the New Hampshire Brain Injury Association, the Relay for Life, the New Hampshire Heart Association and the Special Olympics.
