Zahara Nakiyaga Muhammed is Miss Uganda 2015
Zahara Nakiyaga Muhammed, 23 years old was crowned Miss Uganda 2015 at the conclusion of the contest held at Serena Hotel in Kampala. She battled out other 20 contestants to claim the title of Miss Uganda 2015. Zahara Muhammed hails from Mityana. By winning this title, Zahara shall now represent Uganda in Miss World 2015 later this year in China. She succeeds Leah Kalanguka as Uganda’s top beauty queen.
The other two runners up were Juliana Nabwowe and Ingrid Wanyama. Our sentimental favourite Aisha Nabukeera, who was burnt by her step mother in childhood. Had she won Miss Uganda 2015, she would have had a great story to tell to Miss World Organisation, which they love btw. But she managed to place in Top 10 and also won the subtitle of ‘Rising Woman’ at the contest. Anyway, Zahara has approximately 5 months to prepare for Miss World 2015 before she flies off to Sanya in December.
