Miss Northern Ireland 2015: Leanne McDowell

The newtownabbey beauty Leanne McDowell conquered the title of Miss Northern Ireland 2015 after battling it out against 27 stunning beauties. The finale took place at Europa Hotel in Belfast. Leanne McDowell was crowned by outgoing queen Rebekah Shirley. As a winner of Miss Northern Ireland 2015, Leanne will now get an opportunity to represent her country at Miss World 2015 later this year.

In an interview, Leanne told that she always wanted to be Miss Northern Ireland since she was a child. After her crowning, she said, “It’s like a dream, it’s so surreal – I really can’t believe it.” She also added that although she was a participant of Miss Northern Ireland 2015, she never expected to win. Leanne got £5,000 as a prize money from Therapie, a car for a year from Fiat group, Miss World Wardrobe from Blush and a modelling contract.
