The Asian beauties are very important to pageantry. Very often, they give a strong fight to the latina girls & the European bombshells. While latinas thrive on their banging bodies & Europeans count on their gorgeous eyes, the Asian beauties dominate the contests with their grace & elegance. The girls from Philippines, India, Indonesia, Thailand, Japan, Korea & Vietnam are highly prepared, since pageants are popular among masses of these nations.

2014 was one more year when Asians made their mark in international pageantry. India’s Asha Bhat won the Miss Supranational title. Patraporn Wang of Thailand won the Miss Intercontinental title.  Jamie Herrell of Philippines won the Miss Earth title.  Numerous other Asians got high placements in their respective pageants.  Here our experts make an attempt to list down the Top 7 Asian stars in the international pageantry. These are the ladies that made not only their countries proud, but also brought smiles to the faces of fans from other Asian countries.

6th Runner-up: Elvira Devinamira of Indonesia

Elvira Devinamira won Puteri Indonesia 2014 pageant in the presence of Miss Universe Gabriela Isler. Elvira transformed herself for the Miss Universe pageant. She won the Best in National costume title. She was also called among the Top 15 semi-finalists for the pageant. Her swimsuit performance was above expectations. She looked toned and well-prepared. She is easily the best representative of her country at Miss Universe by far.

5th Runner-up: Mary Jean Lastimosa of Philippines

Mary Jean Lastimosa won the Binibining Pilipinas 2014 pageant. She was a big favorite for Miss Universe pageant. She had one of the best bodies of the contest. Her warm smile was loved by many. She was also popular among the other delegates – people called her warm and sincere lady. She finished in the Top 10 of Miss Universe pageant.

4th Runner-up: Parapadsorn Disdamrong of Thailand

Parapadsorn won the Miss Grand Internatioal Thailand title in the year 2014. She was in the Top 10 of the Miss Grand International pageant. She was also the Vice-Miss Supranational, i.e. 1st Runner-up. Parapadsorn is known for her sweet facial features. She can be a wonderful representative for the country at Miss Universe or Miss World.

3rd Runner-up: Koyal Rana of India

Koyal Rana won the prestigious Femina Miss India 2014 title. She was considered a very strong favorite for Miss World title. She made it the Top 32 finalists of Sports contest. She was selected for Dances of the World segment. She was in the Top 20 for Top Model contest. Her gown designed by Shane & Falguni Peacock won the Dress Designer’s award. She was in the Top 5 for Beach Fashion contest. She was one of the five winners of Beauty with a purpose title. She was a Top 5 finalist for Miss Multimedia title. She was the Topper of the leader-board at the finals and was called among the Top 10 girls. Later she was adjudged as the Queen of Asia 2014.

2nd Runner-up: Punika Kulsoontornrut of Thailand

Punika Kulsoontornrut won the Miss Earth Water title at Miss Earth 2013 pageant. She is lovingly called Polly. Polly’s environmental advocy is “Believe in yourself”. She was warmly received in her country after her win. However, she was stripped off her title when she went ahead to participate in Miss International 2014 pageant. At Miss International pageant, she was adjudged as the second runner-up. We would love to see her at Miss World or Miss Universe pageant.

1st Runner-up: Jamie Herrel of Philippines

aa8z6tJamie Herrel is a Filipino-American beauty who was born in California but spent a lot of time of her life in Cebu city of Philippines. She is the owner of a dance company in Cebu city. She starred in few commercials and short films, but her shot to fame was winning the Miss Earth 2014 title. Her victory was heralded by the Philippine congress.

Winner: Asha Bhat of India

Asha Bhat was 2nd Runner-up at Miss Diva 2014 pageant.  This bright and talented lady was considered a strong delegate at Miss Supranational pageant, but no one expected her to win. She received a lot of acclaim for her warm dance performance in talent round & her majestic national costume presentation. In the finals, she rocked the stage with her presence, grace & confidence. She became the first Miss India to win the Miss Supranational title.  She has been well-received internationally for her warmth and simplicity.
