It broke our heart when we heard that Miss Honduras World, Maria Jose Alvarado and her sister, who were reported to be missing few  days back, were found dead and buried in the village of Cablotales, Santa Barbara, Honduras. Four suspects are under arrest and are being investigated as they were supposed to be the last people to see them alive.

Coello confirmed: “Four people are under arrest. They include the owner of the party venue and Sofia Trinidad’s boyfriend (Sofia was Maria Jose’s sister). They are being investigated.”

Alvarado beat 18 contestants at Miss Honduras in last April and was supposed to leave for Miss World 2014 but was found missing before a day of leaving to London. She described herself as an aspiring diplomat who likes playin volleyball and football. Alvarado was supposed to do the final trial of the evening gown for the finale of Miss World 2014 on Sunday, but failed to appear for the same.

The women’s mother Teresa de Jesus pleaded last night: “Open your hearts and understand my pain. There is an all-powerful God that sees everything and I hope you set them free.”
