Miss South Sudan World 2014 – Hot-picks & Contestants’ Review
Guest Author: Adney Gonçalves
This is the first time Miss World South Sudan has revealed their contestants. I truly believe South Sudanese beauties are a standout and they have selected winners who are just beautiful (Atong, Modong). No matter who wins, the winner will always have a special place in our hearts. The youngest nation is fast catching up to have the most beautiful dark gals of all.
STAR CONTESTANTS

Nice tresses, seems to have a good body and a like-able face. Pageant veterans have considered her to be favourite to win this pageant. Even I think she has the potential to carry on the legacy of South Sudanese beauties. Overall: Winner

Atong – Modong – Ajoung? Do we see the rhyming happening? There are very high chances of this happening. This girl has a nice face and can win the entire thing: – Overall- Runner up

The prettiest girl, but seems to be little on heavier side. She has the face and the skin tone to put South Sudan as the African favourite: Overall: Runner up
STRONG GIRLS

Has nice pouty lips and very good skin tone. Not the best looking girl but something about her strikes the chord – Overall can crack the top 5

Dark girl with extra dark lips. Nice face. Can pull off a surprise. Overall: Probable top 5

This girl if groomed properly can be turned into a runway diva. Cropped hair suits her structured face. But is she a beauty queen material. ? Overall: 50: 50

Good skin tone. She needs minor fixes in her teeth, otherwise she is ok. May pull off a surprise. Overall: Top 5
DARK HORSES

She has a likeable face and short her which is kind of ok. But there is nothing wow and extra-ordinary about this girl. so i think overall she might not place. Overall: Unplaced

She loses in the crowd of other South Sudanese beauties. Her skin tone is not as we like it and face is below average. Overall: Unplaced

She has the lightest skin tone amongst all the contestants which might work against her or for her. Her face is not a stand out. Overall i don’t see her placing. Internationally she will not stand out. Overall: Unplaced

The darkest girl of the bunch and has got a skin tone like no other. But she doesn’t have the face which is really a setback. Overall: Unplaced.
Just within few hours, we will know the winner. 🙂
