2014 the Year of Pageant Veterans (Miss Universe Edition)
The year 2014 has been lucky for repeaters most of the Delegates elected so far have had some less or more pageant experience some participated in teen pageants or were runner ups at their respective pageants or are cross over contestants here’s a look down at some of the Contestants from Miss Universe 2014 who have Previous Pageant Experience.
THE RUNNERS UP:
Mary Jane Lastimosa: First competed in Binibining Pilipinas in 2011 where she was awarded the Second runners up crown. She again tried in 2012 but she could only make it to the top 12. MJ also represented The Philippines at Miss Asean 2012 where she was in the Top 10.
Tegan Martin: 21 year old Tegan was crowned as First Runner Up at the same pageant twice 2011 & 2013. But in 2014, she finally got the right to represent Australia in 2014.
EARTHLINGS:
Ana Luisa Montufar represented Guatemala at the Miss Earth 2011 Pageant where she went unplaced at the pageant. Ana was also crowned Miss Teen Guatemala 2011.
Camilla Hansson was crowned First Runner Up at Miss Universe Sweden 2012 she went on to represent Sweden at Miss Earth 2012. However, went unplaced at the pageant.
Andjelka Tomasevic was the official representative of Serbia at Miss Earth 2013 where she was Top 8 finalist she also won Miss GLNG award and place in top 15 in preliminary swimsuit and resort wear competition. Currently Andjelka is a front Runner for the Miss Universe 2014 crown.
p.s*Fabiana Granados Miss Costa Rica Earth 2012 competed in Miss Universe 2013 where she entered the TOP 16.

Both Karina Ramos (Costa Rica) & Gabriela Berrios (Puerto Rico) competed at the Miss Supranational 2012 Miss Ramos entered the top 20 whereas Miss Berrios was in the Top 10.
OTHER PAGEANTS:
Claudia Tavel, Miss Universe Bolivia 2014 was in the top 6 at Reina Hispanoamericana 2013 she will compete in Miss United Continents before she heads to Miss Universe 2014.
Chanel Beckenlehner, Miss Universe Canada 2014 represented Canada at Miss International 2009 where she was in top 15 She also represented Canada at Miss United Continents in 2010 where she was awarded Miss Photogenic .
Alejandra Argudo , Miss Universe Ecuador 2014 was in World Next Top Model where she finished in top 12 & was awarded as Top Model South America Alejandra will also represent Ecuador at Miss United Continents later this year.
Sabrina Beneett, Miss Malaysia Universe 2014 was in the Top 6 of Asia New Face Model.
Nikoleta Jovanović, Miss Universe Montenegro 2014 represented her country at Miss Tourism Queen International 2013 but unfortunately she could not place.
Marline Barberena, Miss Universe Nicaragua 2014 participated in Nuestra Belleza Latina 2013 where she made it to top 24 sadly she could not go beyond that.
Jimena Rumini Espinoza Vecco, Miss Universe Peru 2014 Participated in Miss World University 2008 where she failed to place.
Johana Riva Miss Universe Uruguay 2014 first participated in Miss Tourism International 2008 where she made it to Top 15 but failed to get the crown, later she represented Uruguay at Miss Atlantico International where she was awarded Miss Photogenic.
So will pageant experience help them or some new fresh faces will give these pageant veterans run for their money 2014 surely will be a memorable & inspiring year for all of us.
