When most beautiful face misses the finale…!!!

 

Paulina Krupinska, Miss Polonia 2013, was touted as one of the strongest crown contenders during the Miss Universe 2013 contest in Russia past November. Paulina had one of those faces which radiates energy, 100 watts smile of hers can lit a dark room. In fact, if we were to rate all the Miss Poland in Miss Universe in past decade, we would certainly rate her as the Top most delegate.

 

When Paulina was selected for Tony Ward show, we were able to see her killer modelesque skills. She just rocked the stage along with the girls like Spain, Great Britain, Venezuela etc. Paulina’s was like some professional model on the ramp and this gave us the confidence that she might just walk away with the crown during the finale.

However, during the preliminary round which is one of the most important factors in deciding the finalists, we saw a lost Paulina. First mistake she did was that she chose 1 piece swimsuit which obviously don’t go well at a contest like Miss Universe where you are supposed to slaughter competitors on the basis of your sexy body. Another thing she missed was a gown that could stand her out from the crowd. She chose a simple plain pink gown, although the colour just enhance her beauty, the gown didn’t do much for her.

What amazes us more is that she failed to make it to the Top 16 girls when the Top 16 constituted with a lot of girls like China, Indonesia, Switzerland, Dominican Republic whom we think were not as great as Paulina if we think of an overall package.She also won an award of Miss Photogenic, her face indeed screams that…!!! When her predecessor could make it to the finale, why not she?? Some question will never be answered. Remember, although we may not see this as a deciding factor of finalist, the girls attitude is given importance while taking her in by Miss Universe Organisation. moreover, what we don’t see on stage is how girls gave interview backstage in a closed door interview with preliminary judges. Hence, this might have made her lose the game, assuming that she bombed in interview…!!!

Enough said, Paulina will go down into our list as those of girls who were expected to be winner or in top 5 but completely failed against all the odds, like bodeline Koehler( Puerto Rico) in 2012, Iliana Papageorgiou (Greece) in 2011 etc.
