Host of Binibining Pilipinas revealed.

 

The host for the 51st edition of Binibining Pilipinas 2014 (Miss Philippines 2014) have been revealed. These four host shall be hosting this years Miss Philippines. It is to be noted that previous two winner of Binibining Pilipinas are also hosting the show. Let’s have a look at all of them in short.

Xian Lim: Xian Lim is a Chinese Filipino model, actor and singer. He is an artist of Star Magic. He is 24 years old and garnered lots of fame for his role as ‘Rocco’ in the movie Bride for Rent which is one of the top grossing Filipino movies of all time.

Maria Venus Raj: Maria Venus was the winner of Binibining Pilipinas in 2010. She was temporarily dethroned due to discrepancies in her birth proofs. However, later on she was again allowed to keep the title as she could produce the relvant documents. This controversy made her famous across the globe and later on, during her stint at Miss Universe, she was considered as a front runner due to her intriguing personality. Venus managed to place Philippines in the finals of Miss Universe after 10 years of drought. She ultimately ended up as a 4th runners up at Miss Universe 2010, eventually won by Ximena Navarrate from Mexico.

Shamcey Supsup: Shamcey as a successor of Venus at Binibining Pilipinas as she won the edition of Miss Philippines in 2011. Shamcey was favourite to win Bb. Pilipinas from the beginning itself, along with other favourites like Patricia Tumulak, MJ Latimosa etc. She created a wave in Brazil during the contest Miss Universe 2011 due to her beauty and bubbly personality. Her sweet aura helped her to reach Top 5 easily and she could manage to place 3rd runners up.

Anne Curtis: Anne is a Filipino-Australian actress. She has done lots of shows like Hiram, Kampanerang Kuba, Magina Sino Ka Man, Dyosa etc. Her noted films were No Other Woman which was a super hit at box office and got her Best Actress award from ‘FAMAS’. Her other note worthy films are Babe, I Love You, A Secret Affair, Baler and In Your Eyes.
