EXCLUSIVE: TGPC First Impressions | Femina Miss India 2014 Coverage

Our message box is flooded with queries about what the favourites of our experts in the ongoing Miss India pageant.  Finally now that a fair amount of information is available about the girls, our experts went through the challenging task of picking out their favourites.  After a lot of analysis, finally we have a list of girls who we think are the ones to watch out for this season.  Please note that the contest has just started and a lot can change in the coming days.

For fun, we have decided to highlight the strengths that we have observed in these girls.  Also, we will be presenting a “Miss World Perspective” on each girl.  By “Miss World Perspective”, we mean our expectation from the girl at the Miss World pageant based on what we have seen by far.

Please note that how a girl performs at Miss World is dependent a lot of factors and that include the quality of competition she is facing.  So accurately predicting how a girl will fair at Miss World is not at all possible.

Yet, we see no harm is using our imaginations and expertise in making some fairly justifiable guesses.  We are particularly keen on how the girls can fare at the challenger events – especially Beach Beauty and Top Model, because the winners in recent years ave mostly done very well in these two events.  Again, all this is just based on what is known now and can change, and frankly will change as we see and know the girls more.

It’s all for fun and a lot will be changing in the coming days, as the girls find their footings, know more about their preferences, makes more decisions and things evolve.  Lot of fun awaits them and also us!

Strengths: Pretty face, confident, well-spoken, gives the impression of smart, well-educated girl.

Miss World Perspective:  She may have to focus on doing well in Multimedia, Talent, BWAP (Beauty with a purpose) events.  We see her making up to Top 20 in Miss World

Rank 9 # Varsha 

Strengths: Tall, model-like look, likable presence, pretty girl.

Miss World Perspective: She can place at either or both of Top Model and Beach Beauty events, even though we don’t see her in the top spots of these competitions at least as of now.  With proper preparation, she may crack the Miss World Top 10 too.

Rank 8 # Deepti

Strengths: Well-spoken, smart, confident, prepared, good attitude, carries a lot of pageant experience.

Miss World Perspective: She can leave a good impression due to her personality.  She comes across as a very sincere person.  She can do well in BWAP too.  If she tries well in other events, she can possibly place in Top 10 of Miss World.  Never underestimate people with good attitudes.

Strengths: Sharp, confident, witty, intelligent, smart, pretty, sexy, good body, fresh-looking.

Miss World Perspective: With proper preparation, she can do well in the Top Model and Beach Beauty events.  If groomed well, this girl can go as high as Miss World Top 10 or Top 5.  She is youthful and exuberant.

Rank 6 # T J Bhanu

Strength: Excellent personality; comes across as a very confident and likable girl.

Miss World Perspective: She can definitely make a mark although her glamour quotient needs to be pumped up.  She seems to be a person of high self-esteem and confidence.  Such girls (e.g. Parvathy, Vanya) often shock the world with immense improvements and book one of the top slots of Miss World.  T J  Bhanu seems to be one such lady.

Strengths: International appeal in terms of facial beauty, photogenic, good figure, confident, passionate, determined, follows pageants since long, highly talented.

Miss World Perspective: With proper grooming, she can do well at Beach Beauty and Top Model events.  She can do very well in Talent contest.  Her creative nature may help her in Multimedia contest too.  We can see her making to the Top 5 or Top 10 of Miss World.  In fact, she can be a hit at Miss Universe too!

Strengths: Stunning and gorgeous face, slim and fit body, intelligent.

Miss World Perspective: With proper grooming and attitude, she can do well in Top Model event and may place in Beach Beauty too.  If she tries well in other events, she can do very well in the finale.  She has what it takes to be among the toppers in Miss World.  If things go really well, she can even be among the Top 3 girls.

Rank 3 # Koyal

Strengths: Aura, regal presence, nice body, glowing skin, gorgeous eyes, pageant experience, attention grabbing looks.

Miss World Perspective: She can do well at Beach Beauty and Top Model events.  With proper preparation, she can even be Top 5 at Miss World.  She has the “winner” feel to her – the thing people call X factor.  She fits the typical “Beauty Queen” bill.

Rank 2 # Nikhila

Strengths: Youthful, fresh-looking, exuberant, beautiful, good body, photogenic, attention-grabbing presence.

Miss World Perspective: With proper grooming, she can do well at Beach Beauty and Top Model.  She can be among the highest placers in the pageant.  She is a Prasad Bidappa find, and most of his finds have been women of fame and name.

Strengths: Gorgeous face, good body, sophistication, classy looks, well-spoken, regal aura.

Miss World Perspective: She can do very well at Beach Beauty & Top Model.  She can be a favourite since the beginning of the pageant.  Miss World organization loves her kind of girls.  She can make it to the Top 3 of the pageant and perhaps even win it all.  Also, she is here for the dream – she mentions in her official profile, her interest to win Miss World.
