We had launched the voting, 2 week back, for best Indian representative at International beauty pageants, where 8 beauties were nominated. These 8 girls competed against each other to gather more than 8000 votes from across the globe. We are quite delighted to inform that the votes kept coming from countries like India, USA, Philippines, Malta, Bahrain, Brazil, Germany, Sri Lanka, Portugal, Canada and many more. The voting poll has been closed now and it’s time to declare who won the title of The Great Pageant Community’s ‘People’s Choice for Best Miss India 2013’. The results are as follows:

 My Verdict on Top 3:

Winner: Miss Grand International India, Rooopa Khurana

We have to say this, Roopa winning this award was no shock to us. She had been seen on various television shows like Splitsvilla, Swayamwar since long and finally on Indian Princess 2013 where she got a once in lifetime chance to represent India at international pageant. Hence her fan following was quite huge and getting high votes in last 3 days was just a piece of cake for Rupa. She was underperforming for almost one and half week maintaining 2^nd position by lagging with few 100s votes from Miss Intercontinental India, Sharon Fernandes. But, her fans gave a crucial fight to the fans of Sharon and finally made her mark by the end of the year by winning the title of The great Pageant Community’s ‘People’s Choice for Best Miss India 2013’.

1^st Runners up: Miss Intercontinental India, Sharon Fernandes

Sharon is an Indian Princess 2013 winner. She was consistently on lead for almost a week. At a point I almost thought that she would easily win this award and hence didn’t care to look for voting for 3 days. But later on I realised that Roopa has been giving tough fight to her to grab the title. However, Sharon was the girl who got votes from various countries with a good spread where as other girls vote came from 2-3 countries only. Eitherway, it’s really good to see Sharon finishing 1^st runners up, which is not at all a bad finish when you’re competing with such beautiful girls who had been favoured internationally.

2^nd Runners up: Miss World India, Navneet Kaur

Navneet won Femina Miss India back in March 2013 and represented in Miss World 2013. Although, she won multimedia award there, she could manage to finish at 3^rd position on our poll. Frankly speaking, when I was staring poll, I thought that either Navneet or Manasi would win it because people would be favouring them over the other 6 girls. But the results were completely opposite. However, this also shows that your placement at international pageants has got no relation with how people like you. Even though she could not manage to place in top 3 of Miss World, in spite of being a crown favourite pre-Miss World, she managed to be in Top 3 of ‘People’s Choice of Best Miss India’
