There is a particular kind of courage in showing up fully as yourself — in a room full of competitors, under the weight of expectation, and doing it anyway with honesty rather than performance. That quality, perhaps more than any other, defined Priyansha Mohanty’s journey through Studio 32 Presents Cosmos Queen India 2026, which concluded on the evening of May 26 at Featherlite Evoma Hotel in Bengaluru with her being crowned Ms. Unity World India 2026.

Priyansha is 24 years old, a model and passionate creative who brings an unusual academic depth to her craft — a undergraduate degree in Business Administration followed by a postgraduate qualification in Fashion Communication. Originally from Bhubaneswar, Odisha, she is currently based in Navi Mumbai, where she has been steadily building her career in modelling while channelling her interests in dancing, acting, and continuously expanding her own abilities. Hers is a profile shaped by curiosity and discipline in equal measure.

The competition that brought her to this moment was demanding by design. Approximately 30 women from across the country went through a multi-stage journey involving brand shoots, subtitle evaluations, personality assessments, and interactive sessions that tested both presence and depth. At the grand finale, finalists competed in Cocktail Wear and Evening Gown rounds presented by Nihal Thakur Studio before the decisive Final Question and Answer round — evaluated by a judging panel that included Yuki Matsuda, Sargam Koushal, Amith Chauhan, and Dipakk Shahi.

“It feels absolutely surreal and deeply emotional. Winning the crown of Ms. Unity World India 2026 is not just a personal achievement — it is a reminder that hard work, confidence, and staying true to yourself truly matter.”

For Priyansha, the significance of this title sits beyond the personal. She describes it as a platform — one she intends to use with authenticity and deliberate intention. During her reign, she hopes to connect genuinely with people across communities, to encourage young women to believe in their own capacity, and to carry a message of unity and empowerment that isn’t simply decorative but lived. Her vision of what this crown means is grounded in what she wants others to take from watching her: that confidence is not a starting condition, but something built through showing up.

She will now represent India at the Unity World Pageants 2026 in September, stepping onto an international stage that Cosmos Queen India — operating under The Great Pageant Community, founded by Monika Shahi and Dipakk Shahi — has been preparing its titleholders for across more than fifteen years of work in the Indian pageant industry. The platform has produced internationally recognised achievers at competitions in Sri Lanka and beyond, and in Priyansha Mohanty, it sends forward a voice that is both polished and real.
