TGPC: What motivated you to participate in India’s Miss TGPC?
Supriya: India’s Miss TGPC has been my beacon of inspiration since I joined the TGPC’s Talent in 2020 at the age of 18. Witnessing women from diverse backgrounds come together, overcoming challenges with unwavering determination, ignited a fire within me. The platform’s global impact in the realm of pageantry, especially in grooming aspirants like myself, has been remarkable. Inspired by Adline Castelino’s journey from TGPC to Miss Universe, I am motivated to push my limits and discover my hidden capabilities. Participating in India’s Miss TGPC not only allows me to showcase my creativity and communication skills but also empowers me to voice out issues often overlooked, aiming to leave a lasting legacy.

TGPC: Why do you believe you are deserving of the India’s Miss TGPC title?
Supriya: It’s a competition, yet we all strive for the same goal: personal growth. I believe we are all winners for daring to pursue our dreams and believing in hard work. My hunger for learning and kindness are my strengths, enabling me to spread positivity wherever I go. Despite challenges, I face them with a smile, knowing they shape me for the better. Supriya: With or without the crown, I aspire to redefine modeling by showcasing my unique style and confidence on international fashion runways. Alongside modeling, I am passionate about acting and wish to immerse myself in diverse roles that tell compelling stories. My entrepreneurial spirit drives me to create solutions for societal challenges, providing opportunities to the underprivileged and addressing critical issues like menstrual hygiene and sex education. My ultimate goal is to make a meaningful impact while honoring my mother’s sacrifices, fulfilling her dreams, and bringing joy to her life. She is my inspiration, and through my journey, I aim to empower others and make a positive difference in the world.

TGPC: Growing up, what would you say was your biggest challenge?
Supriya: Growing up, my biggest challenge was speaking up and asserting myself. As a shy child, I struggled to voice my opinions and stand up for myself. In school, I faced bullying, whether for my slender frame and height or perceived lack of intelligence. Speaking in public was daunting; I often stumbled over my words and was ridiculed for how I spoke, walked, danced, or even sat. I found it difficult to confront or retreat from those who bullied me, often crying alone or in front of the class. While crying offered temporary relief, I never shared my struggles with anyone, hesitating to discuss my problems. I shied away from interactions and challenges, battling with my inner fears and insecurities.

TGPC: Beyond winning, what aspect of India’s Miss TGPC are you most excited about?
Supriya: I am most excited about meeting all my sisters across India, sharing my experiences, and learning from theirs. I would love to be creative in each and every round and give my best.

TGPC: As an aspiring winner of India’s Miss TGPC, what legacy do you aspire to leave behind?

I seek to encourage collaboration within communities, fostering a culture of mutual support for a happy and successful life. My vision includes visiting remote areas to facilitate access to education and healthcare. Furthermore, I am passionate about promoting sustainability in our rapidly developing world.
