TGPC: What motivated you to participate in India’s Miss TGPC?
Geethika: Initially, the opportunity to experience and train at India’s premier pageantry school, Cocoaberry, drew me towards considering participating in India’s Miss TGPC. However, it was the supportive community fostered by this platform that ultimately solidified my decision to take part. The prospect of collaborating with industry leaders and immersing herself in a vibrant network of like-minded individuals fills me with excitement. I view my participation as a pivotal moment in my journey toward success in the world of pageantry. In essence, my decision to participate in India’s Miss TGPC was driven by ambition, passion, and a desire to make a meaningful impact. I am determined to seize this opportunity and make the most of my experience with India’s Miss TGPC.
TGPC: Why do you believe you are deserving of the India’s Miss TGPC title?
Geethika: I believe I am qualified for India’s Miss TGPC title owing to my unrelenting dedication, passion, and drive to making a positive difference. I’ve shown tenacity in the face of adversity, viewing each obstacle as an opportunity for growth and self-improvement. My desire to overcome adversity and promote change distinguishes me as a role model to others. Furthermore, I believe that training from India’s Miss TGPC will not only benefit my personal development, but will also provide me with the skills and confidence required to represent India on a worldwide scale.
The rigorous training and guidance provided by this respected platform will enable me to effectively articulate my values, advocate for crucial change, and highlight the beauty and richness of Indian culture to the entire world. Through my participation in India’s Miss TGPC, I would be better prepared to represent India with incomparable grace, unshakeable confidence, and authenticity that resonates globally, enhancing the country’s standing on the international stage.
TGPC: Looking towards the future, what are your plans, both with and without the crown?
Geethika: In the future, I aim to represent India at the international platforms of pageantry. Having grown up listening to stories about brave women from mythology, the public discourse of the media, and even my own household, I envision myself as a role model and mentor for girls all across the world, much as many women have done for me before. Beyond the crown, I wish to pursue my higher education in economics and business. Through my rigorous training in economic theory, I want to further study women in Indian society, their perception by different stakeholders in the economy. I plan to apply my academic and pageantry endeavors to help women achieve a better social standing in the society than they currently hold.

TGPC: Growing up, what would you say was your biggest challenge?
Geethika: Growing up, I faced relentless bullying because of my physical appearance and eating habits. Despite my parents’ best efforts to shield me from negativity, I couldn’t escape the harsh judgments and hurtful comments from those around me. From mocking my crooked teeth to scrutinizing my weight, every aspect of my body and diet was subjected to criticism. Even now, as a young adult, the echoes of those hurtful words cast a shadow of doubt over my self-image and food choices. The scars of past ridicule have left me feeling insecure about my appearance and wary of what I consume. However, I think I have come a long way and have started cherishing my body and self for the better and appreciating my blessings.
TGPC: Beyond winning, what aspect of India’s Miss TGPC are you most excited about?
Geethika: Beyond winning the title, I am very excited to be TGPC ki betiya! I am thrilled to meet with and learn from industry leaders such as Adeline Castelino and Praachi Nagpal among many others. It is incredibly inspiring to me that these dynamic ladies began their journey as TGPC ki betiya, and now I am in the same position as them. I believe the value of my experience with my peers and mentors at TGPC is unparalleled by anything in the world, and I cannot wait to begin my adventure with the TGPC family.

TGPC: Could you share with us the causes or issues that you are particularly passionate about, and how do you intend to utilize this platform to create an impact?
Geethika: Today, any attribute of worth I possess is undoubtedly owing to the invaluable knowledge and confidence instilled in me through my education. I have been fortunate to receive unwavering support in pursuing a comprehensive education, encompassing not only academic learning but also cultural pursuits and sports, right from my formative years. However, I realize that this privilege remains elusive for a vast majority of children in India and is my mission to extend the opportunity of quality education to every child across the nation. While I am presently engaged in advancing this cause on a modest scale, through endeavors such as collaborating with NGOs and teaching children of support staff in my college, my overarching goal is to enable access to quality education for all. I firmly believe that education is the cornerstone of empowerment and societal progress, and by equipping every individual with the tools of knowledge, I aspire to uplift them towards a better standard of living and a brighter future.
