Aayushi: My love and passion towards pageants is what brought me to India’s Miss TGPC. Ever since the age of 10, I have been exposed to this beautiful and empowering world of pageants and being the first Asian to win Miss Teen International title has only made the journey more enriching. Meeting women from all walks of life and sharing their stories becomes a guiding force of constant encouragement and fills is in a sense of pride as we remind ourselves the IMPACT an I can create!

TGPC: Why do you believe you are deserving of the India’s Miss TGPC title?
Aayushi: I bring a fresh perspective that is backed with experience and sheer passion to create a positive change around. I am at a point of my life where all the years of ups and downs, experiences and learnings have helped me become the best version of myself. And my continued purpose of growing and evolving and giving back to the community in whichever way possible is what I believe I can give to this coveted title, if given a chance.

TGPC: Looking towards the future, what are your plans, both with and without the crown?
Aayushi: I believe wearing a crown is a testament of your resilience and purpose that the entire world acknowledges and celebrates. So whether with the crown or without, my plan is to still continue my purpose to bring about a change that be via my role as a content creator on social media, an actor, or a communicator. All these roles have the underlying vision of voicing out my opinions fearlessly along with putting the platform into its best use.

TGPC: Growing up, what would you say was your biggest challenge?
Aayushi: My biggest challenge has been achieving my fitness goal. Being a Gujarati who cannot end a meal without sweet and as someone who enjoys chataka and flavours in her life, maintaining a healthy balanced diet was a challenge. But my transformative journey helped me learn, grow and adapt to new lifestyles with grace and calmness. It tested my will power at the same time making me understand that- Progress lies in the Process!

TGPC: Beyond winning, what aspect of India’s Miss TGPC are you most excited about?
Aayushi: Though I have been a part of the pageant community before, I have never experienced an Online Pageant! I am very eager to understand and go through this experience of creating bonds and sharing stories while competing in a digital realm. I am super elated to embark on this journey and meet my fellow sisters, virtually 🙂

TGPC: As an aspiring winner of India’s Miss TGPC, what legacy do you aspire to leave behind?
Aayushi: I am guided by the 3 Ps- Patience, Persistence, and Perseverance that I hold as the strongest ingredients for the recipe of pursuing one’s passion to attain happiness and fulfillment. And that is the legacy I aspire to leave behind 🙂

TGPC: Could you share with us the causes or issues that you are particularly passionate about, and how do you intend to utilize this platform to create an impact?
Aayushi: I started my NGO at the age of 15, and worked tirelessly for the inmates of old age homes. Spending time with them and celebrating festivals and special occasions was our way of bringing joy and companionship in their lives. Over the years we joined hands with Rotary International and since then have been working for women’s healthcare, children welfare and environmental conservation. Presently, being inspired by our PM’s being ‘Vocal for Local’ initiative I am working for the revival of a languished handloom craft of my state.

TGPC: Is there any message you’d like to convey to those reading this?
Aayushi: To whoever reading this, Thank you for this wonderful opportunity to once again immerse myself in the environment of pageants which is filled with compassion, aspirations, and celebrations! Looking forward to seeing you soon 🙂
