In a dazzling spectacle held in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, Drita Ziri of Albania emerged as the proud victor of the Miss Earth 2023 pageant. The highly anticipated event featured a fierce competition among 85 contestants from around the globe, all vying for the prestigious title. Drita received her crown from the outgoing queen, Mina Sue Choi of Korea, marking a historic moment as Albania claimed its first-ever victory in a major international pageant.
The Miss Earth 2023 finale not only celebrated Drita’s triumph but also unveiled the location for the next edition of the pageant – once again in Vietnam. The organizers also took the opportunity to reveal the exquisite new crowns that will adorn Miss Earth 2023 and her elemental counterparts.
In addition to the overall winner, the pageant recognized outstanding contestants with elemental awards. Miss Earth-Air was bestowed upon the enchanting Miss Philippines, Yllana Adana, while Miss Earth-Water went to the graceful Miss Vietnam, Do The Lan. The title of Miss Earth-Fire was claimed by the captivating Miss Thailand, Cora Bliault.
The final rankings for Miss Earth 2023 showcased a diverse array of beauty and talent. The Top 8 included representatives from Brazil, Russia, Kazakhstan, and the Netherlands. The Top 12 featured standout contestants from Indonesia, Puerto Rico, South Africa, and Venezuela. Meanwhile, the Top 20 boasted the inclusion of delegates from Belgium, Bulgaria, Canada, England, India, Mauritius, the United States, and Zimbabwe.
Acknowledging excellence in various aspects, the pageant presented special awards to deserving contestants. Vietnam received recognition for “Best Appearance,” while the Philippines was celebrated for “Best Bikini.” The title of “Best National Costume” was bestowed upon Vietnam once again, showcasing their dedication to cultural representation. Indonesia won the “People’s Choice” award, and other honorees included Kazakhstan for “Best in Evening Gown,” New Zealand for “Best in Talent,” and Team Europe for “Best Eco Presentation.”
Drita Ziri’s victory not only brought pride to Albania but also highlighted the global celebration of beauty, culture, and environmental advocacy that defines the Miss Earth pageant.
