Meet Vevonulu Ringa-Cosmos Queen India 2023 Finalist

The Cosmos Queen India 2023 pageant is on the horizon, set to grace Bangalore on October 26th. Amidst the constellation of remarkable finalists, one name shines bright – Vevonulu Ringa.

Vevonulu’s Journey:

Vevonulu Ringa, known for her compassion, emotional depth, and zest for life, is a person of insatiable curiosity. She embraces every opportunity to learn and experience new things. While her specific hobbies are still in the process of exploration, her love for singing stands as a beacon of her passions. Hailing from Kohima, Nagaland, she embarked on a journey to Pune in pursuit of higher education. She completed her master’s degree in Economics from the University of Pune, laying the academic foundation for her future endeavors.

Overcoming Challenges:

Vevonulu’s path has been marked by formidable challenges. Born into a household led by a single mother, she learned profound life lessons early on. The financial struggles and emotional hurdles she faced were profound, shaping her resilience and determination. Despite her father’s eventual presence, life’s unpredictability persisted. Tragically, she lost her father to cancer in 2019. This adversity, far from weakening her, has forged her into a person capable of turning vulnerability into strength.

Setting Vevonulu Apart:

Vevonulu’s story is a testament to her unwavering spirit. She has navigated through life’s twists and turns, uncovering new facets of herself with each challenge. Her experiences and battles, chosen and unchosen, have uniquely defined her. Her unwavering will and kindness, even in the face of adversity, set her apart.

Advocacy and Impact:

Body positivity and inclusivity lie at the heart of Vevonulu’s mission. She is determined to shatter the societal norms that have stigmatized her for her body. Through this platform, she intends to spread the message of self-acceptance and the power it holds.

Legacy of Belongingness:

As the co-founder of the NGO Team Northeast Organization (TNO), Vevonulu aims to use this platform to empower young women from the Northeast region. She envisions mentoring and guiding them, enabling them to confidently represent themselves in pageantry and beyond.

As Vevonulu stands on the precipice of the pageant, she reflects on the transformative journey she’s undertaken. Regardless of the outcome, one thing remains certain – she will carry forth her newfound understanding of herself, her values, and her indomitable spirit.
