Meet the winners of Mrs Delhi NCR 2020 by Glamour Gurgaon

Mrs Delhi NCR 2020 concluded on 21st November 2020 by crowning 6 winners after a rigorous training of its 110 finalists for 4 days. The ladies were trained in various aspects of pageantry including Rampwalk, Communication skills etc. The Grand Finale of the pageant was held at The Leela Ambience, Gurgaon. The contestants made to compete in Talent Round, Walk Rounds like Evening Gown and Ethnic Wear, Introduction and Final Question & Answer round before reaching the final winners. The winners were classified in 2 groups based on their age division-Mrs. Delhi NCR 2020 (Below 35 Years) & Mrs. Delhi NCR 2020 (Above 35 Years)

The complete result of the pageant was as below:

Winner: Aakriti Sambyal

1st Runner-up: Shivani Mudgil

2nd Runner-up: Preeti Dabas

Winner: Meghna Puri

1st Runner-up: Ruchi Pant

2nd Runner-up: Sweta Bora

All the final contestants walked the ramp wearing the collections by Chetan Veena Fashion Couture from Hyderabad and the evening gown collections designed by Aenna Sharma. Mrs Delhi NCR 2020 was Directed & Choreographed by Shie Lobo. The pageant focused on “Breast Cancer”, which is an alarming risk for today’s women. The pageant saw more than 4000 applications out of which 800 women were shortlisted for the audition. After auditioning around 110 contestants are shortlisted for the pageant.

The finale of the pageant also saw celebrated names like former Mrs Delhi NCR 2017 Ms Namrata Garg, model-turned-actor-turned-improviser Ms Madhu Sneha, former Mrs India, Pride of Nation 2017 Ms Mayanka Patel and Ms Rachana Khanekar who was the winner of ‘Mrs India-pride of Nation Face of West’ on the jury panel this year.

This year, due to the Covid 19 pandemic, strict safety measures were taken, and it ensured that all the candidates were being safe and not exposed to any kind of crowded place. Conceptualized by Barkha Nangia, Director – Glamour Gurgaon, says, “This year saw unexpected circumstances that took the entire world by the storm. To contain the spread of Covid 19, we all were confined to our houses. This year has been a tough year for all of us and was a testing time for women. Despite all the odds, they stood high and handled all the aspects of their life. This pageant celebrates the essence of womanhood in the modern world and also pays the tribute to the women and all the frontline fighters of COVID 19.” She further added, “Mrs Delhi-NCR strives to instill the confidence and empower women to be a better contributor to society. The finalists are the crème de la crème from among several who auditioned to fulfil their dream and be a responsible citizen of this society.”
