Miss Universe Philippines 2020 will be the first edition of the pageant. 52 contestants from around the Philippines will compete for the title of Miss Universe Philippines 2020. The grand finale of the pageant will take place on Sunday, 3rd of May 2020 at Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City. Gazini Ganados, will crown her successor at the end of the pageant. The winner of this pageant will represent the Philippines at the Miss Universe 2020 pageant later this year. The new franchise owner of Miss Universe preliminary for Philipinnes is Shamcey Supsup-Lee, Binibining Pilipinas Universe 2011 and third runner-up at Miss Universe 2011 pageant.
