Simrithi Bathija is Miss India International 2019
29th September 2019, the grand finale of Glamanand Supermodel India was held. 19 finalists from all across the country took part in the pageant. Simrithi Bathija won the Miss India International crown and will represent India at Miss International pageant in Tokyo, Japan this December. The pageant was held at Jai Bagh Palace where Simrithi Bathija and Tanvi Malhara from Mumbai took the crown home. Trisha Shetty came the first runners up and Aparna Jha came as the 2nd Runners Up.
Simrithi is from Mulin, Mumbai. She works as a model and holds a bachelor’s degree in Mass Media from Jai Hind College. She is 20 years old and stands 5ft 7 inches tall. She is a trained dancer and athlete. She has been trained for pageants at India’s No.1 pageant training institute Cocoaberry.
Simrithi Bathija was crowned by Tanishqa Bhosale who represented India at Miss International in 2018. Simrithi Bathija said “I will give my best to bring the first Miss International crown home. I hope I am able to make the country proud.” Neha Kumar from Ranchi will be creating her national costume.
The highest placement for India at Miss International was by Shonali Nagrani in the year 2003.
