Maya Reaidy wins Miss Lebanon 2018

22-years-old Maya Reaidy a student of Pharmacy at the Lebanese American University, defeated 29 other contestants to win the title of Miss Lebanon 2018. The grand finale of Miss Lebanon 2018 took place on Sunday, 30th of September 2018 at the Forum de Beyrouth. Maya will now represent Lebanon at the Meet Miss Universe 2018  pageant which is scheduled to take place in Bangkok, Thailand on December 16th. Maya receives gifts worth  $500,000 which include an apartment, trips abroad, a brand new car and jewellery befitting a queen.

Miss USA 2010 Rima Fakih is the new franchise owner. The reigning Miss Universe, Demi Leigh Nel Peters was the special guest at the grand finale. The first runner-up crown went to Mira Toufaily. Lebanon has won the Miss Universe pageant in the year 1971 courtesy of  Georgina Rizk. Lebanon last placed at the Miss Universe pageant in the year 1973. Miss Lebanon, Marcèlle Herro Miss Lebanon was top 12.
