Miss Diva 2018 Final Hotpicks!
The Dome at NSCI in Mumbai is going to witness a strong and a fierce competition between 19 of the most stunning girls from across the country, who are competing for the title of Miss Diva 2018. Grand-finale of this pageant will take place on the 31st of August 2018. Winner of this pageant winner will represent India at Miss Universe 2018 pageant whereas the runner-up will go to Miss Supranational 2018. Shraddha Shashidhar, Miss Diva 2017 will crown her successor at the end of the pageant. The reigning Miss Universe, Demi-Leigh Nel Peters and Miss Supranational 2017, Jenny Kim are going to be guests of honor. The contestants are being mentored by Miss Universe 2000, Lara Dutta.
Here is a basic assessment of the entire batch – The pageant began on a high note seeing such strong contestants pageant enthusiasts who were really excited for the pageant; but as the time progressed, most of us realized that there is not a single “complete” girl in this batch although majority of the girls have raw potential. But considering the time they have to prepare the delegate after finale, it looks like they will have a tough time transforming the girls into potential crown contenders internationally. It is not impossible but it is highly unlikely. We hope next year they schedule the pageant at least 6 months before the pageant.
Here are the final hot-picks for Miss Diva 2018, compiled by TGPC Elite Club & the experts from TGPC team.
Crown Contenders
(Winner can be from this pool)
Aditi Hundia has often faced flak for not being a great speaker, but she looks stunning and would have certainly placed at Miss Universe in olden times. Hannah is perhaps not as stunning as Aditi Hundia, but she certainly is one of the few girls who can claim to be “overall packages”. While Nehal might have drawback on height front, she has a fabulous body, impressive walk and an intellectual yet congenial personality which can help her shine at any pageant. Roshni doesn’t have the best body, but her walk is amazing and will fetch her good points in the preliminary competition. Shefali has faced a lot of flak for her heavy frame, but she has the support and belief of many pageant fans.
Spoilers
(If there is going to be a surprise winner, this is where she may come from!)
Aditi Shetty is perhaps the shortest contestant, but she has a spunk in her personality and her confidence is beautiful. Himanshi is perhaps a bit raw overall, but she has immense physical beauty and girly charm. Preethy can be a hit or miss for fans, but she has a powerful presence. Surina needs a lot of grooming to shine internationally, but she is still among the good contestants. Tanvi seems shy and may get lost in international pageants, but she still is one of the liked contestants of the batch.
India has been missing Top 15 cut since few years. Selecting a contestant who can make the cut at Miss Universe should be the criteria of organization. Let’s hope the best girl wins!
