Yashvi Aware representing the Mid Atlantic region was crowned as Miss Earth United States 2018. Grand finale of Miss Earth United States 2018 took place on Saturday, 15th of July 2018 at Rachel M. Schlesinger Concert Hall in Virginia. Andreia Gibau, Miss Earth United States 2017 crowned Yashvi as her successor. Yashvi will now represent The United States at the Miss Earth 2018 pageant in the Philippines later this year where she will try to succeed Karen Ibasco of the Philippines as the next Miss Earth. The elemental crowns were awarded to Kailey Parker of Hawaii won Miss Earth United States-Air, Miss Texas, Yvette Vaughn was awarded Miss Earth United States-Water, Miss Earth United States-Fire went to Miss Puerto Rico, Natalia Aldarondo and Miss New York, April Maroshick bagged Miss Earth United States-Eco crown.

The United States has competed at the Miss Earth pageant since its inception in 2001. Miss Earth United States 2014, Andrea Neu bagged the highest placement for the country in the 2014 edition where she was Miss Earth Air (first runner-up) crown. In 2015 Brittany Payne bagged Miss Earth-Water (Second runner-up) crown and in 2016 Corrin Stellakis brought home Miss Earth Fire (third runner-up) crown.

Indian Beauty! Yashvi will represent the United States at Miss Earth 2018

26-year-old Yashvi was born in New Delhi, India. Yashvi has worked with Walter Reed Army Institute of Research where she was part of a psychological research which aimed at well being of American soldiers and she found working with children with autism extremely rewarding. Yashcvi is not new to the pageant world she has been watching pageants since she was a child. She first competed at the Miss Teen Maryland pageant when she was 17 and she was awarded with the second runner-up crown and has previously tried her luck at Miss Earth United States in 2016.
