Dee Ann Kentish Rogers is Miss Universe Great Britain 2018

Dee Ann Kentish Rogers defeated 31 contestants to win the title of Miss Universe Great Britain 2018. Grand finale of Miss Universe Great Britain 2018 took place on Saturday,14th of July 2018 at The Riverfront, Newport. Anna Burdzy, Miss Universe Great Britain 2017 crowned Dee-Ann as her successor. Dee-Ann will represent Great Britain at the Miss Universe 2018 pageant later this year where she will try to succeed South Africa’s Demi Leigh Nel Peters as the next Miss Universe. Simren Vernon bagged the first runner-up crown and Cara Frew was awarded the second runner-up title.
Aileen Chase, Miss Univer Great Britain 1952 was the only woman to represent Great Britain at the Miss Universe pageant until 1990. Winners of Miss England, Wales, and Scotland used to compete till 1990 since 1991 the British ISle started electing a single delegate for the Miss Universe pageant. Helen Upton became the first woman in four decades to represent the United Kingdom or Great Britain at the Miss Universe 1991 pageant. Amy Willerton in 2013 bagged the highest placement for Great Britain at the Miss Universe 2013 pageant she was Top 10 that year. In 2017, Anna Burdzy made it to top 15.

25-years-old Dee Ann Kentish Rogers hails from Anguilla a British overseas territory in the Caribbean. Dee-Ann is currently completing her professional training at the University of Law and will soon become a Barrister. Dee-Ann love football and athletics she has represented Anguilla at the Commonwealth Games twice. Dee-Ann has traveled to India, China, El Salvador, Mexico and many other countries competing in various athletic events. She enjoys Salsa dancing, reading and playing sudoku. Dee-Ann is the reigning Miss Anguilla.
