22 years old Star Farrugia was crowned as the winner of  was crowned Miss Gibraltar 2018 during the finale held at Grand Battery House. She will now represent her country at Miss World 2018 which will take place in China. She battled out 2 other contestants vying for the title. She succeeded Jodie Garcia as the new Miss Gibraltar.

At the same event, Lilly Gomez was awarded Best Interview subtitle. It is interesting to note that Gibraltar has won Miss World crown only once in 2009 by the courtesy of Kaiane Aldorino after which the country only placed once in the finale of 2013 due to Public votes.
