Rosa Iveth Montezuma, representing Comarcas defeated 21 others contestants to bag the title of Señorita Panama 2018. Grand finale took place on Thursday,7th June 2018 at Roberto Duran Arena, Panama City. Laura Sofía de Sanctis Natera, Señorita Panama 2017 crowned Rosa as her successor. Rosa Iveth will now represent Panama at the Miss Universe 2018 pageant where she will try to succeed South Africa’s Demi Leigh Nel Peters as the next Miss Universe.
In the same event Miss Herrera, Solaris Barba was crowned as Senorita Panama Mundo 2018. Solaris will represent her country at Miss World 2018 pageant where she will try to succeed India’s Manushi Chhillar as the next Miss World. Miss Panamá Centro, Shirel Ortiz was crowned as Señorita Panamá International she will represent Panama at Miss International 2018 where she will try to succeed Indonesia’s Kevin Lilliana as the next Miss International. Miss Isla San José, Diana Lemos was crowned as Señorita Panamá Earth 2018 she will represent Panama at Miss Earth 2018 where she will try to succeed Karen Ibasco as the next Miss Earth.

25-years-old Rosa hails from the District of Müna in the Ngäbe Buglé region and is from Alto Caballero tribe. Rosa became the first indigenous woman to win the title of Senorita Panama. Rosa is currently studying Computer Science Education and has a degree in Food Science and Technology.
