List of Indian Pageants Girls can Participate in, to become ‘Miss India’.

To a girl who is passionate about representing ‘India’ at an international stage or wishes to be addressed as ‘Miss India’ by people, pageant is something she breathes everyday. At times, it is disappointing when you don’t make it to the final list of a pageant of your choice. Well, don’t get disheartened. There are various options available for you. We present you the list of pageants as below which may be considered for participation.

Femina Miss India:

The biggest and most credible pageant of the country has always dominated the pageant industry of India. Having the legacy of producing stars like Aishwarya Rai, Priyanka Chopra, Sushmita Sen, Lara Dutta etc, Femina Miss India remains the first preference of most of the girls. The promotion you get on their media and events is unmatched, majorly because this pageant is owned by India’s biggest Media network ‘Times of India’. This pageant sends winner to Miss World and runners up might get a chance to go to Miss Grand International, Miss United Continents and occasionally at Miss Supranational. Miss Diva:

The younger sister of Femina Miss India and a property of Times of India, Miss Diva is second choice of girls to apply after Femina. Majorly because this pageant sends winner to Miss Universe as the main prize. The runner-up may go to Miss Supranational (Or may not go). However, the promotion and grooming is what attracts the most applications. Although the fame of winner is comparatively less than Femina Miss India, this pageant is totally worth if the girl is passionate about representing India at Miss Universe. Check their website to know more on application criteria. Rubaru Miss India Elite:

Another very active pageant organising group in the market. Rubaru had made its mark by dominating Male pageantry in India for quite a long time and is growing in female segment as well. In fact the pageant group also recently did an international pageant called Miss Supermodel Worldwide. The pageant holds franchises like Supermodel International, Miss Asia Noble Queen, Miss Globe, Miss Eco International, Face of Beauty International etc. Check out their Facebook to know more about the pageant.

TGPC’s Miss India:

Owned by India’s No. 1 Pageant community ‘TGPC’, this site itself, TGPC’s Miss India is world’s first ever online pageant where your location isn’t a barrier. You can sit at home and yet compete in this pageant with a lot of activities and promotions over the web and in front of right audience. TGPC’s Miss India has found talents like Priyanka Kumari who later on became Femina Miss India 2017 Top 3 winner and Shraddha Shashidhar who later won Miss Diva. The list is on going. World Supermodel India:

The pageant has completed two years and is expanding its horizon with continental franchise as well this year onward. The pageant discovered talent like Summer Jacobs who later on became a finalist at India’s biggest modelling reality show.  Owned by Yellow Umbrella, this pageant is for the girls who are modelesque and aspire to make good name in modelling industry. The contest elects two winners, one in adult category and another in teen category. The winners goes to World Supermodel in their respective categories. Miss Tiara India:

3 years old pageant and has already won quite a few international crowns. The pageant is held by memory makers event management company. They hold franchises like Miss World Next Top Model, Miss Tourism Universe etc. Check out their website to know more about application criteria.

Glamanand Supermodel India:

Having it’s own International Pageant by the name of Miss Multinational, this pageant looks promising. It also has franchise of Miss International and Miss Tourism. Check out their website to know more about the application criteria.

Miss Glam India:

A very new entrant in pageant industry, Miss Glam India made its mark last year at Miss Cosmopolitan by placing in Top 20 and winning People’s Choice Award. This Bangalore based pageant looks promising, especially its backed up by a strong team of pageant passionate people. Miss India Exquisite:

Having various categories in under the brand of Miss India Exquisite, it gives chance to teen, adult and married woman. The winner goes to USA based international pageant Miss Exquisite International. Check out their website to know more about the application criteria.

Abraxas Goddess of Beauty:

Comparatively very new pageant, yet very noticeable. The pageant has franchises like Miss Global International, Miss Teen Universe, Miss Scuba International, Miss Petite Intercontinental, Miss Summer International etc. The pageant is owned by Abraxas group and has completed 2 years of existence.  The pageant already had its international winner in first season itself for Miss Scuba International and Miss Petite Intercontinental. Check their website to know more on application criteria.

Akshay’s Mark Miss India:

It’s very rare to see a pageant making its presence felt in their first year itself but Akshay’s Mark has done it. Their first ever winner Swapna Priyadarshini got India in Top 5 of Miss Tourism Culture Universe pageant this year. The pageant is all set to comeback with multiple international franchises this year. It has got Miss Teen International, Miss Tourism World, World Miss Tourism Ambassador, Miss Asian International, Miss Sea World, Miss Ocean, Miss Tourism Culture Universe, Miss Golden Universe. In case your pageant doesn’t show up in the list above, write to us at thegreatpageantcommunity@gmail.com with the details of your pageant with link of your facebook page/wesbite. If your pageant clears in the following criteria, we will add it up to this list.

Rules:

-The pageant needs to have at least one finale held in past 3 years and should have a crowned national winner. Appointed candidates won’t qualify.

-The pageant should have a website with details about the contest and registration forms.

-The winner(s) should be going to international pageant after winning national crown. In exceptional case we may accept a pageant without international franchise if the credibility is high, subjected to the decision of screening panel of TGPC.

-The pageant should be active as on date. Pageants which has no plan of future editions will not be considered.
