Alfïya Ersayın wins Miss Kazakhstan 2018

Alfïya Ersayın from Atyrau, defeated 29 other contestants to bag the title of Miss Kazakhstan 2018. Grand finale of the pageant took place on Saturday,31st of March 2018, at Palace of Peace and Accord in Asthana. Alifya was crowned by the outgoing winner Kamilla Asylova. Alfïya will represent Kazakhstan at Miss World 2018 pageant in Sanya, China later this year. Where she will try to succeed India’s  Manushi Chhillar as the next Miss World. The first runner-up crown went to Ekaterina Dvoretskaya from Karaganda. Ekaterina might represent Kazakhstan at Miss Universe 2019. Maymun Kulkashev bagged second runner-up title whereas  Dinara Baymuratov and Sabina Azimbaeva were awarded third and fourth runner-up titles respectively.

Miss Kazakhstan was established in the year 1997. Kazakhstan has placed in the pageant four times. Highest placement for the country was in 2011 where Zhanna Zhumaliyeva won the top model round at made it to the top 15 of the Miss Wolrd 2011 pageant. Alfina Nasyrova in 2008 and Dina Nuraliyeva in 2009 made it to the top 16 of the pageant. Regina Vandysheva was top 20 at Miss World 2016.

16-years-old Alfïya hails from Atyrau. Currently, Alfïya is a second-year specialty “Teacher of Fine Arts and Drafting” at Katira Dutbaeva College. She is fond of dancing and likes to play volleyball.
