Maeva Coucke wins Miss France 2018

Maeva Coucke from Nord-Pas-De_Calais was crowned as the winner of Miss France 2018. The finale of the pageant was held at Chateauroux,Center-Val de Loire region which was aired live on TF1 channel. This was 88th edition of the contest where Maeva battled out other 29 contestants to claim the title of Miss France 2018. She succeeds Alicia Aylies of Guyane as the new Miss France. She will now represent her country at Miss World 2018 and/or Miss Universe 2018. If for any reasons the winner fails to qualify for the pageant her runner-up will represent France at that particular pageant. The show was presented by Jean-Pierre Foucault alongside reigning Miss France, Alicia Aylies and former Miss France,Sylvie Tellier (who also happens to be the national director of Miss France).

The panel of jury included Jean Paul-Fashion Designer, Iris Mittenaere- Miss Universe 2016, Nolwenn Leroy-Singer,  Agustin Galiana-Actor, Anne Roumanoff- Humorist, Lorie- Singer and Actress, Vincent Clerc- Rugby Player. The finale also saw the performance by Ed Sheeran.

At the same event,  Eva Colas was declared as the first runner-up while Lison DiMartino was declared as the second runner-up. Safiatou Guinot was declared as the third runner-up and Audrey Chane Pao Kan was declared as the fourth runner-up. The complete result of the show is as below.
