Farah Shaaban was crowned as Miss World Egypt 2017Farah Shaaban was crowned as the winner of Miss World Egypt 2017. The finale of the pageant was held at Misr Opera House Theatre in Misr University for Science and Technology. She will now represent Egypt at Miss World 2017 later this year in China. She battled out 20 other contestants to claim the title on her name. She succeeds Nadeen Osama El Sayed as the new Miss World Egypt. Apart from the main title, Farah also won Miss Beautiful Hair subtitle.

At the same event, Hadeer Tarek  placed as first runner-up and Merna Ayman placed as second runner-up. While Florine Ashraf, Farah Kamal and Hadeer Khalil completed the Top 6 court. Shaaban is pursuing her degree in computer science at British University, England. She is 22 years old and loves swimming and reading in her leisure.
