Aslı Shumen crowned as Miss Universe Turkey 2017

Asli Shumen was crowned as the winner of Miss Universe Turkey 2017 title after a finale full of glitz and glam just now. The finale was held at Grand Hotel de Pera in Istanbul, Turkey. Asli Shumen battled out 23 other delegates to claim the title. She succeeds Tansu Sila Çakir as the new Miss Universe Turkey. She will now represent Turkey at Miss Universe 2017 later this year.

At the same event, Itır Esen waş was crowned as Miss World Turkey and Pınar Tartan was crowned as Miss Turkey Supranational. Asli Shumen is 23 years old 172 cm tall. She is currently studying economic and administrative sciences, business section in Middle East Technical university. Turkey has never won Miss Universe before.
