Prissila Howard is Miss Universe Peru 2017

Stunning Prissila Howard was handpicked to represent Peru at Miss Universe 2017. She was originally the first runner-up at Miss Universe Peru 2016 and later on represented Peru at Miss Grand International 2016 where she placed as one of the Top 10 finalists. She stands 1.73 mm tall and is an actress & host by profession. She succeeds Valeria Piazza as the new Miss Universe Peru.

Prissila isn’t a very new to pageantry. Apart from competing at Miss grand International, she also competed in Miss Teenager Peru 2009 where she was given the subtitle of Miss Elegance and Best Runway. She also was a contestant at Miss Teen Del Pacifico 2010. Peru has placed in years 1953, 1954, 1956, 1957,1958, 1961, 1965, 1966, 1969, 1972, 1978, 1982,1987, 1996, 2003, 2005, 2012 & 206 – in total 17 times!  Gladys Zender won Miss Universe 1957.  Thus, overall Peru has a nice record in the pageant. Last year Peru placed in Top 13.
