Huỳnh Thị Thùy Dung was appointed as Miss Vietnam International 2017. Huỳnh was second runner-up at Miss Vietnam 2016. Huỳnh Thị Thùy Dung  will represent Vietnam at Miss International 2017 in Tokyo, Japan later this year. This 21-years-old is currently studying foreign trade at the ho chi minh city university.

Vietnam started competing at Miss International pageant in the year 1995. Vietnam is yet to win it’s first Miss International crown the highest placement for the country came in 2015 when Phạm Hồng Thúy Vân bagged the third runner-up crown other than that Vietnam has placed twice at the pageant in 1995 & 2011 the managed to make it to the top 15.
