Pageant Questions Season 3 Semifinals Results [Meet the Top 6]

Hello Everyone! Welcome! This is the semifinals episode and now we know the Top 6 🙂 Congratulations to all those who have made into the Finals  🙂 Keep honing your creative writing and answering skills! Moving onto the results of this episode, there were three questions this week:

While Chinkey Saini already has a secured spot in the Top 6 since she topped the leader-board, she still chose to compete and made it to the Top 6 by merit too!

The judges for this week: Andreas Sarkar, Aditi Pillai, Dipak Shahi, Saloni, Shobin Krishna (from TGPC panel) and Shriya Torne (Miss TGPC 2017, 2nd runner-up).

Let us meet the Top 6 finalists in increasing order of their scores in the semi-finals.

6th placeZain Ulabedin Sabir

Zain is a 23 years old Electrical engineer from Sialkot, Pakistan.

Question 1: Recently famous Indian director Shoojit Sarkar tweeted about putting ban on the reality shows involving children. Do you agree with him? Why or why not?
Answer: For a culture where talent embody in nations blood, reality shows provides a diminutive dais to enlighten it up more,children are considered to be the foundation of every nation,and talent have no age,race or gender,I am not against children nurturing and development through reality shows unless they tend to snatch their innocence. Peace

Question 2: If you could live the life of a popular book’s protagonist, whom would you choose to be and why?
Answer: Hooking up with a protagonist for a long time is sort of seeing yourself in its place If I could live the life of a popular book’s protagonist it would be “Americanah” by Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie.Nigerian woman who has spent the 15 years in the United States,achieving scholarly achievement and writing about discrimination and racism in America.

Question 3: Can world be a better place without religions?
Answer: Religion is an extremely delicate facet of identity,which everyone understands in his or her own way.Humans are the issue not religion.Fundamentalists are the issue.Religion is used to “justify” atrocities and warfare.People can kill in the name of religion, or without any religious reasoning ,Its us who need to revolutionize,stop blaming religion.

5th Place: Simeon Singsit

Simeon is a 29 years old civil servant from Delhi.

Answer: We all are born with a gift. If a kid has talent, it should be nurtured and showed to the world. Reality Tv exist because there is a demand for it. It gives children a chance to prove themselves which they normally wouldn’t have 10 years ago. But yes, exploitation of children should be condemned. That’s why we have Govt and civil org. in place.

Question 2: If you could live the life of a popular book’s protagonist, whom would you choose to be and why?
Answer: Huck Finn of Adventures Of Huckleberry Finn. As a kid we are always bound by society rules and prejudice. Huck like any other kid felt his own superiority over Jim (slave). Friendship changed Huck & learnt to follow his own heart rather than society rules, value friendship and respect his own decision even if it is against society.

Question 3: Can world be a better place without religions?
Answer: Religion has made me a better person that I am today. I’m glad about it but at the same time, I have no prejudice about other faith or atheist. We all have a reason to believe in something. My belief is that God exist, religions can co-exist as long as people keep their faith to themselves and instead, show love, compassion and kindness to other.

Roma is a 24 years old dentist from Cuttack, Odisha.

Answer: Reality Shows with high TRPs are Unrealistic & full of Sarcasm,vulgarity & sensitive topics,which may cause SUDDEN SHOOT UP IN THE PSYCHOLOGICAL GROWTH OF CHILDREN,snatching away their innocence & Purity at such a Tender Age;it’s Pitiable! Authorities need to interfere in such shows to give Proper Exposure to Our Young Talents,for a Bright Future!

Question 2: If you could live the life of a popular book’s protagonist, whom would you choose to be and why?
Answer: I’d want to be Isabella Swan,Protagonist of the Twilight Saga,an ORDINARY girl,who makes mistakes,emerges back,& is unafraid to Forgive.She is FEARLESS & DARING to take stand & fight for her loved ones.Her Love for Edward was so INTENSE that she boldly gave up her Human Life to become a Vampire,just to be with him “in Their Small PIece of Forever”.

Question 3: Can world be a better place without religions?
Answer: Surely World can be a better place without religions because now-a-days religions are intending to divide people,making them forget Human Values resulting in crimes & violence.Accomplishment of Reformations is the need of the hour,to bring Love & Compassion amongst People, so that, “Belongingness” can prevail, because NO RELIGION IS ABOVE HUMANITY!

3rd Place: Chinkey Saini

Chinkey is a 22 years old operations executive from Ghaziabad.

Question 1: Recently famous Indian director Shoojit Sarkar tweeted about putting ban on the reality shows involving children. Do you agree with him? Why or why not?
Answer: Shoojit Sircar seems a very sensitive person,he wishes to retain the innocence and juniority of these tots.To me such floors give them a chance to present their zeal,natural passion to the world.They not only get to learn in the process but adapt virtues like sharing,affability and living by moments.Their honesty and genuine reflexes are adorable.

Question 2: If you could live the life of a popular book’s protagonist, whom would you choose to be and why?
Answer: I would love to be Scout from How to kill a mockingbird as she exhibited courage to stand by her convictions.The narration from her ingenuous eyes made me explore integrity against despotism.Highlighting antiracism this character breaks stereotypes with utmost panache and teaches to be modest to everyone.She’s inspiring and that’s how I wish to be

Question 3: Can world be a better place without religions?
Answer: Religions weren’t meant to divide but support us by imbibing a trust,a hope that there’s an ear to all our mess.Now it has become an emotional insanity and I demand a toss.We need not discard the idea but redefine it.Religion should be self acceptance and kindness.When the faith of love will overcome our love for faith world will be a better place.

2nd Place: Khushi Burad

Khushi is a 15 years old school student from Nasik, Maharashtra.

Question 1: Recently famous Indian director Shoojit Sarkar tweeted about putting ban on the reality shows involving children. Do you agree with him? Why or why not?
Answer: Reality show can be a great platform to showcase the talent until the show actually portray reality.Exploiting children to raise the TRP,making them lose their childhood and involving them in unnecessary emotional drama takes away their innocence.Thus,I believe the way of running these show should change and not the entire concept should be banned.

Question 2: If you could live the life of a popular book’s protagonist, whom would you choose to be and why?
Answer: Books are like mirror and I found my reflection while reading ‘The Diary of a Young Girl’.Anne Frank’s loving nature,optimistic attitude and embracing every situation with a smile inspires me.I’ll love to step into her shoes because her saying ‘Despite everything I still believe people are good from heart’ thrives me to experience her amazing life.

Question 3: Can world be a better place without religions?
Answer: God is one but names are many.Similarly religions are many but all of them teach us humanity.I believe,religion does not divides us but the human made boundaries,prejudices and misconceptions about religion do.If we stop underestimating each other’s religion and join hands together then surely the world would be the best place to recide in.Thanks!

Priti is a 20 years old student from Nagpur.

Question 1: Recently famous Indian director Shoojit Sarkar tweeted about putting ban on the reality shows involving children. Do you agree with him? Why or why not?
Answer: Yes I do agree with him.. Reality shows nowadays seem highly scripted & make children act & behave in a particular way just for high television ratings…I beleive reality shows should solely concentrate on nurturing & enchancing the hidden potential of children rather than kill their innocence by potraying them as adults in the garb of a child.

Question 2: If you could live the life of a popular book’s protagonist, whom would you choose to be and why?
Answer: I would absolutely love to be Percy Jackson from Rick Riordan’s Percy Jackson and the olympians because The idea of being a demigod & experiencing mythological adventures completely fascinates and intriguies me..Furthermore percy and his friends taught me that disabilities can actually represent great strenghts all you need to do is find a purpose.

Question 3: Can world be a better place without religions?
Answer: I feel the purpose of religion is to inculcate moral values in people and teach them peace, not to divide them. Its we who brought politics,hatred and superiority in religions.. With or without religion the world can never be a better place until we realise humanity is above all and treat everyone with respect.
