Emerlinda Martins crowned Miss Earth Angola 2017

Emerlinda Martins was chosen as the very first representative of Angola for representing her country at Miss Earth 2017. She was crowned as Miss Earth Angola 2017 on Friday. She was crowned by Miss Earth 2016 Katherine Espin and Miss Earth 2015 Angelia Ong. Emerlinda previously competed at Miss Angola 2017 and was a second runner-up at the pageant.

Miss Earth Angola is the ambassador of ecotourism and environmental preservation, starting her mandate under the motto ‘Renewable energies for a sustainable future’.  “It is necessary to promote a mass environmental awareness and channel media attention to an urgent issue, which requires immediate resolution,” said Emerlinda Martins.
