Indian actor, model and fashion designer, Karan Mehra is all set to judge the Supermodel International 2017 contest slated to take place on 22 April 2017 in the National Capital Region of India. The Supermodel International competition is the world’s biggest and most prestigious international modelling contest. The event will feature more than 30 international models from all over the world competing for the title of Supermodel International 2017.
Karan is a well-known face in the Indian fashion and television history. He is best known for essaying the role of Naitik Singhania in the super successful Indian TV series, “Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata hai”. He has also appeared in Indian movie Love Story 2050 starring former Miss World and international superstar, Priyanka Chopra. Other than this, he has appeared in reality TV series that include, highly popular shows Bigg Boss 10 and Nach Baliye. Apart from being an actor and model, Karan is also a well-known fashion designer. He studied fashion designing at the prestigious National Institute of Fashion Technology (popularly known as NIFT) in Delhi.
This is for the second consecutive year that the Supermodel International competition is happening in India. All thanks to the Rubaru Group headed by Indian entrepreneur, pageant guru, social activist and painter, Mr Sandeep Kumar for bringing this international fashion festival to India. This prominent international modelling event is based in Thailand and is owned by Thai entrepreneur, Mr Pradit Pradinunt.
This year more than 30 international models from all over the world are in India to vie for the title of Supermodel International 2017. During this 10 day-long event, the models take part in a series of fashion shows and photo shoots After all the preliminary competitions and pre-pageant activities, the best performer of the event will be awarded as the winner of the contest. She will receive a modelling contract, a custom made trophy, a beautiful crown and the opportunity to travel the world as Supermodel International 2017 and attend several fashion and social events. Over the years, Supermodel International competition has produced several top international models and has been the numero uno choice for the aspiring models to taste success.
