Andelija Rogic is Miss World Serbia 2017

Andelija Rogic won the title of Miss Serbia 2016 and thus will represent Serbia in Miss World 2017, as Miss World Serbia 2017.  Later this year, Andelija will travel to Sanya and surrounding places in the People’s Republic of China for the Miss World pageant, where Stepanie Del Valle of Puerto Rico will crown her successor from at least 100 contestants from around the world.  Andelija succeeds Katarina Šulkić as Miss Serbia.

Andelija Rogic is 12th woman to represent Serbia in Miss World.  Until now, Serbia has never placed in Miss World or Miss Universe.  However, Serbian women have done great in some of the events of Miss World.  Milica Tepavac (Miss World Serbia 2011) was Top 5 in Beach Beauty, while Milica V (Miss World Serbia 2014) was Top 5 in Sports.  Perhaps the most successful Miss Serbia by far has been Anđelka Tomašević, who was Top 8 in Miss Earth 2013.
