Laura González Ospina wins Señorita Colombia 2017!!!

21-year-old Laura González Ospina who represented Cartagena region defeated 22 other contestants to win Señorita Colombia 2017 pageant. Andrea Tovar the outgoing Señorita Colombia winner crowned Laura as her successor. Laura will represent Colombia at 66th Miss Universe pageant. Vanessa Pulgarin Monsalve of Antioquia was named Virreina she will represent Colombia at Miss International 2017 pageant. Yénniffer Hernández from Santander ended as the first runner-up. Second runner-up crown went to Miss Bogotá, Vanessa Domínguez and Maria Fernanda Betancur, from Magdalen bagged the third runner-up crown.
Colombia has produced two Miss Universe winners Luz Marina Zuluaga Zuluaga in 1958 and Paulina Vega in 2014. The Latin American nation has produced numerous runner-ups and semi-finalists placements at Miss Universe pageant. Colombia has produced three Miss International winners Maria Stella Márquez Zawadzky in 1960, Paulina Margarita Gálvez Pineda in 1999 and Jeymmy Paola Vargas Gómez at Miss International 2004.
