Violina Ancheva is chosen as Miss Universe Bulgaria 2016

Violina Ancheva has been chosen as Miss Universe Bulgaria 2016.  She will represent Bulgaria at Miss Universe 2016, which will be held in the Philippines in January 2017.  She succeeds Radostina Todorova as Miss Universe Bulgaria.

Violina Ancheva is 21 years old.  Her height is 5 feet 9 inches.  She hails from Sofia, the largest and the capital city of Bulgaria.  She also holds the Miss Football title by winning Miss National Team Bulgaria 2016 pageant.  In Miss National Team Bulgaria pageant, every year there are three winners who represent Bulgarian Sports in Football, Basketball and Volleyball. Each winner becomes official ambassador in each title.  Veronika Bikovska won Miss Basketball and Shtiliana Kireva won Miss Volleyball.

Bulgaria is yet to place in Miss Universe.  Europe is again strong this year at Miss Universe.  Miss France Iris Mittenaere and Miss Russia Yuliana Korolkova are the most popular contestants from the region among global pageant fans. Barbara Filipović from Croatia is also a girl we would keep our eye on.  Will Violina Ancheva shine out in such strong group?
