Li Zhenying is Miss Universe China 2016

Li Zhenying (Joyce Li) from Hunan has been chosen as Miss Universe China 2016.  She stands 6 ft 1 inch tall.  She succeeds Jessica Xue as Miss Universe China title-holder and will represent the Republic of China at Miss Universe 2016, which will be held in January 2016.  The finals will see 100+ stunners competing to succeed Philippines’ Pia Wurtzbach as the next Miss Universe.  The event will be held at Metro Manila on 30th January 2016.

Miss Universe China pageant was created in the year 2002.  In the very first year, Zhuo Ling was the 2nd runner-up at Miss Universe and won a lot of fans due to her personality and stage presence.  Miss Universe China 2007 Zhang Ningning won Miss Congeniality at Miss Universe.  Miss Universe China 2011 Luo Zilin was 4th Runner-up at Miss Universe.  Miss Universe China 2012 Xu Jidan won Best in National Costume at Miss Universe.  Miss Universe China 2013 Jin Ye, also called ‘Angelina Jolie of China’ by many, was Top 16 at Miss Universe.  In Miss Universe 2015, Jessica Xue was 4th in Best in National Costume round of Miss Universe.

Will Li Zhenying achieve success at Miss Universe 2016?  Only time will show.  She looks lean and tall.  That is her strength.  We wish she was chosen as Miss Universe China few months earlier so that she could have prepared well for Miss Universe.
