Bayartsetseg Altangerel is chosen as Miss World Mongolia 2016.  She was crowned in Ulaanbaatar in a grand ceremony.  She will now represent Mongolia at Miss World 2016.  This event will be held in the United States of America in the month of December 2016.

Bayartsetseg Altangerel is also called Bayra Bela.  She is a model and actress.  She is famous for her role in American TV show Marco Polo.  She is also famous for her stint in Miss Earth 2015 as Miss Earth Mongolia 2015.  Then 24, Bayra was among the favorites for the title of Miss Earth 2015.  She performed exceptionally well during the events of the pageant.  She also won Miss Photogenic and made it to the Top 16 in finals.  In spite of impressive performance, she was left out of Top 8.  Nevertheless, the girl won many hearts and fans.

Mongolia at Miss World

Mongolia hasn’t achieved much success at Miss World.  The country is participating since 2005 and placed just once.  The single placement in Top 25 was achieved by Sarnai Amar in Miss World 2010.  Bayartsetseg Altangerel is perhaps the strongest contestant from Mongolia by far.  She has the skills and beauty to do exceptionally well in Miss World 2016.
