Alexandra Britton is Miss International Australia 2016

Stunning Alexandra Britton was crowned as the winner of Miss International Australia 2016. The event was held at Lake Macquarie. She will now compete in Miss International 2016 later this year. Alexandra succeeds Larissa Hlinovsky as the new Miss International Australia. Previously she also tried for Miss World Australia 2015.

Alexandra Britton is 23 years old and currently pursuing Bachelor of Education at the University of Notre Dame, Sydney. She hails from Sutherland Shire. It is to be noted that Australia has won 3 crowns of Miss International till date. First being 1961 when Tanie Verstak was crowned as Miss International, second being in 1972 when Kristen Davidson won and third being in 1981 when Jenny Derek was declared as the winner.

Australia hasn’t got any remarkable placement in last 15 years. Hence, the chances of Australia placing seems bit difficult due to the light weight sash.
