Zeenus Lama crowned Miss Grand Nepal 2016
Stunning Zeenus Lama was crowned as the winner of Miss Grand Nepal 2016 during the conclusion of national pageant finale. She battled out 10 other contestants from the contest to claim the title. The contest was organised by Looks International. Zeenus shall now represent her country in Miss Grand International 2016 later this year in Las Vegas. She succeeds Jenita Basnet as the new Miss Grand Nepal.

At the same event, Pooja Shrestha and Jyotsana Maharjan were crowned as first runner- up and second runner-up respectively. The contest was organised by Looks International. As a winner of the contest, Zeenus Lama was awarded Rs. 50000 cash prize, where as the first and second runners-ups were given Rs 25,000 and Rs 10,000, respectively.
Claire Parker, the reigning Miss Grand International, was a part of the finale. She co-crowned the winner of Miss Grand Nepal 2016. Zeenus Lama was too excited to be crowned as the new Miss Grand Nepal and posted following message on her social channel.
“Good Morning all the beautiful people out there.
First of all I would like to thank everybody for your wonderful blessings, support, love and especially “Miss Grand Nepal” for giving such an incredible opportunity to wear this beautiful crown with great pride. I am so much delighted and overwhelmed to receive this honor and now ready to fulfill my responsibilities. I will be representing Nepal in “Miss Grand International 2016” which is happening soon in Las Vegas on October 25th, 2016. I will be advocating the powerful message “STOP THE WAR AND VIOLENCE” and for this I again want your immense support and love. God Bless you all.”
