Mr India 2016, Abhishek Shah awarded ‘Mr Manly’ at Man of The Year 2016
Abhishek Shah, the winner of Rubaru Mister India 2016 pageant won the special award for, “Mr Manly” at the recently concluded international pageant, Man of The Year 2016 held on 20 August 2016 at Grand Central Hotel in Pekanbaru, Indonesia. The New Delhi based model and engineer, Abhishek won the annual Rubaru Mister India 2016 contest, produced by Rubaru Group, owned by Sandeep Kumar. The pageant was held on 24 April 2016 in Gurugram (previously known as Gurgaon). At the grand finale of the pageant he was declared Man of the Year India 2016 thus giving him the right to represent India at the inaugural edition of Man of The Year pageant, an international pageant for men that focuses on five words, “Manly”, “Masterly”, “Masculine”, “Modern” and “Mindful”.
The cause associated with pageant is wildlife conservation. The Man of the year pageant is based in Indonesia and is owned by Mr Raymond Djambek. The pageant was won by Karan Singhdole from the Philippines whereas Mr Lebanon, Tarek Moaykel bagged the first runner up title, Mr Netherlands, Tim Bertrams secured second runner up place, Mr Vietnam, Trịnh Xuân Nhản clinched the third runner up spot and Mr Indonesia, secured the fourth runner up title. Apart from these titles, some other special awards were also given which include, Missosology’s People’s Choice award and Mr Masterly won by Mr Nepal, Sandeep Pokhrel, Mr Masculine won by Mr Spain, Antonio PM, Mr Mindful won by Mr Czech Republic, Jan Vurm, Mr Modern won by Mr Myanmar, Htoo Lwin and Best National Costume won by Mr Malaysia, Edison Chua.
