Cristiana Viana is crowned as Miss World Portugal 2016

Cristiana Viana has been chosen as Miss Portuguesa 2016.  She will represent Portugal at Miss World 2016.  The finals of Miss World 2016 will be held in December 2016 in Washington D.C., the United States of America.  Cristiana succeeds Rafaela Pardete as Miss World Portugal.

This 19 years old beauty has the chance to make history by winning first Miss World crown for Portugal.  Portugal has placed just twice in Miss World till now.  The first and the highest placement was achieved by Ana Paula de Almeida.  She was Miss World 1971 2nd Runner-up.  The second and the last placement of Portugal in Miss World was achieved by Melanie Vicente.  She was Top 30 finalist in Miss World 2012.  Will Cristiana Viana become the 3rd Portuguese to place in Miss World?

Chances of Cristiana Viana in Miss World 2016

Cristiana looks very youthful and exuberant.  She is genuinely pretty.  However, Miss World 2016 is very competitive already.  The sash of Miss Portugal is weak too.  Cristiana will have to put her best foot forward in the pageant if she wants to crack the Top 20.  For now, she is not in our Top 20, but we will keep an eye on her.
