Virginia Hernandez is crowned as Miss Earth Panama 2016

Virginia Hernandez is Miss Earth Panama 2016

Virginia Hernandez is chosen as Miss Earth Panama 2016.  She will represent Panama at Miss Earth 2016.  The Miss Earth 2016 finals will be held in the month of October later this year.  She succeeds Carmen Jaramillo as Miss Earth Panama.

This 26 years old beauty from Panama city is 5 feet 8 inches tall and has studied industrial engineering.  Virginia Hernandez is also a ballet dancer.  She won Miss Congeniality at Miss World University 2010 in Seoul, Korea.  She won Miss World Panama in 2013 and represented Panama at Miss World 2013 in China.  Virginia did not place in Top 20 of Miss World 2013.

Last year’s Miss Earth Panama Carmen Jaramillo was a big favourite for Miss Earth title.  She did very well in the contests prior to the finals.  She was TGPC’s no. 1 pick for Miss Earth 2015 title.  However, it was a shocker for everyone when she did not make it to the Top 16 in finals.  Few supporters of Miss Earth came ahead and blamed Carmen for bad attitude, but there is no evidence for such allegations.  Will Virginia Hernandez fulfil the dream which Carmen couldn’t accomplish?
