Thata Kenosi has been chosen as Miss Botswana 2016.  She succeeds Seneo Mabengano as Miss Botswana title-holder.  Thata Kenosi will represent Botswana at Miss World 2016, which will be held in the United States of America at Washington D.C. in the month of December 2016.

Botswana is participating in Miss World since 1964.  Till now, the country has placed only twice.  The first placement was achieved by Miss Botswana 2010 Emma Walreus in Miss World 2010.  She was 1st runner-up.  The second placement was achieved by her successor Karabo Sampson.  Thata Kenosi is the 50th Miss Botswana.  Will she do well at Miss World 2016?

From  the initial pictures, Thata does not look very strong or promising.  Nevertheless Miss World is not just about physical beauty.  She can do well at Miss World 2016 if she does well in some of the challenger events like Talent, Sports, Top Model, etc.  For now, she is not in our Top 20.
