Miss Universe pageant has seen many changes in the recent years. In 90s, the focus of the pageant was on personality. In 2000s, physical beauty and stage presence seem to be most important. In 2010s, the focus is slowly shifting again to personality. Here our experts dared to rank the winners of the 2010s (2010-2019).
In order to evaluate the 6 ladies who won the Miss Universe titles in this period, judges considered five criteria. The first criterion was facial beauty. Most experts agreed that Leila Lopes and Ximena Navarette lead the pack in this department. Leila has the stunning ‘Black Goddess’ face, while Ximena looks like an international supermodel. Second criterion was body. Paulina Vega and Gabriela Isler lead the pack in this department. Both are lean, tall and have a perfect built. Third criterion was personality. Pia Wurtzbach and Olivia Culpo lead the pack in this department. While Both the ladies are very charming and good with words. Fourth criterion was stage presence and walk. Pia Wurtzbach and Ximena Navarette lead the pack in this department. Last criterion was general liking by fans. Pia Wurtzbach and Leila Lopes lead the pack for this criterion.
Overall, it was quite easy for experts to conclude that Pia Wurztbach is the best Miss Universe of 2010s and Paulina Vega is perhaps the weakest. The second spot had tight competition between Ximena and Leila, but our experts ended up picking Leila. Fourth spot went to Olivia who could have ranked higher if she was taller!
