Esther Memel was crowned as the winner of Miss Cote D’Ivoire 2016 during the national contest held on 4th of June 2016. The pageant was held at Sofitel Hotel in Abidjan. Esther Memel hails from Yamoussoukro and she will now represent her country at Miss World 2016, to be held later this year. She succeeds Andréa N’Guessan as the new Miss Cote D’Ivoire.
At the same event, Abiba Bakayo was declared as the first runner-up and Marie-Loic Egué was declared as the second runner-up. Raïssa Diarrassouba and Grâce N’dri completed the Top 5 court.
Cote D’Ivoire has never won the Miss World crown and the last time they placed in the finale of Miss World was in 1985. Do you think the Esther Memel has what it takes to bring a placement or win the crown for her country?
